I was just curious to see if a title like the one for this post would cause people to open it. In a recent article that I read concerning e-mail campaigns it talked about using such 'tricks' to lure people in to opening your e-mails. It then goes on to say however that you can't be blatantly tricking people as this will just P' off your recipients so there needs to be at least some reference in the letter to the title. If your e-mail title reads "Show this Friday" or "New Album Out Soon", as true as that might be, most people have so many subscriptions that they don't even bother to open half of them. If they think the title's boring or they feel like all the info they need is right there in the 1 line then they're less inclined to open it.

True or False?

What are some other ideas to 'zing up' promo campaigns?

Anyway, just so that you still don't think I've been misleading with my title, here's an image of some hot naked chicks.

Yeah I have to admit we usually shudder at the barrage of 'sex sells' promos. Despite our ridiculously good looks and tight glutes we know their are more ethical ways. It does help to use words that pique the interest though.

I'll let you drive one of my ferraris some time if you like:)
