The NEW sound of the GC, 'ZEUS BABY! will perform their long awaited debut performance at The Hard Rock Surfers Paradise, Friday 7th August, 10pm.

- Zeus Baby! is an electro-dance-rock expierence born from the remains of seminal Gold Coast beats collective U3-GO. Chief member Mark Hartung has, reinventing his original electro sound with a fatter band approach and a live, jam band dynamic. Mark still continues to create loops, samples and synth’ lines, however, he is now joined by G.C. Glam Rocker PurpleZain (ex Chevron Whores) as lead guitarist, and the live drum and bass duo of Dion Pritchard (ex The Desert Blonde) and Doug Slack-Smith (ex Lost Dogs) to continue the rhythmic duties. The end result is dance floor music coloured by classic melodies, pop hooks, and scortching guitar. A sound aesthetic unlike anything else on the G.C. today.
Zeus Baby! has taken up where U3-GO left off, with fresh, new songs, and re-workings of the old classics. Zeus Baby! is the sound of the Gold Coast and is currently taking house band bookings for the rest of 2009.
