- Stop, Drop and Rock 'n' Roll – Since first taking to the stage in 2008 TheCityShakeUp has built a steady reputation for hot, sweaty and offensively loud live stage shows. If you haven't seen them live – you're wasting your eyeballs!
Whilst a young band, these 5 loveable lads have a combined stage experience of over 25 years – touring the world, rocking some of Australia's biggest music festivals and supporting the likes of The Living End, Spiderbait and The Mad Caddies. But when their respective bands broke up – TCSU began – with a basic philosophy – Play every show like its your last! Rock them till their toes bleed!
But it's not all about the show – taking influence from Muse, Foo Fighters, Rise Against and 90's Punk Rock - TheCityShakeUp have a simple recipe – Take a little thumping rhythm, knead with a healthy dose of fist pumping vocals, add a sprinkle of mouth-watering riffs, shake vigorously on stage for 30-35mins and there you go – a musical feast that could satisfy even the biggest of rock appetites!
With the imminent release of their Debut EP and heavy show schedule, TheCityShakeUp will invade your brain, hit the spot – and rip it right off!
With their eyes firmly fixed on the horizon, and the pedal firmly planted to the floor – nothing and no-one can stop this hard rockin Band-Wagon. No Really… Get Out of the way….. We don't have brakes!
