- Born in the mid seventies, this restaurant is lovingly called 'an old lady in the twilight of her life' and let's just say that it's a twilight we can all only hope for! Originally the first wine bar in Queensland, the ultra-funky venue quickly became the Gold Coast hotspot in the late '70s and '80s. In 2003, she wore a different face again and became the Swingin' Safari - restaurant, bar and emporium. From Thursdays to Sundays, the Swingin' Safari invites you to take a step back in time to experience the kitsch glamour of the golden days of the Gold Coast.

- Hey Carly! thanks for adding so many gigs to the gig guide hey! it helps out heaps... i'm working on getting recurring events working so that you only have to add those weekly things once.. anyways.. thanks heaps for your support.. ill give u a high five next time im down in your neck of the woods.. the newsletters going out tomorrow so if you have anything you want to add, go for it! :)
