Rukus Crew have been kickn' for over seven years now. Originating in the western suburbs of Sydney in 2003 calling themselves Sus Rukus, then in 2005 one by one they slowly moved from the slums to the paradise of the Queensland coast to reunite with mastered skills & a stronger attitude for album releases and live shows, this was a perfect time to tweak the name for a more solid description of the crew who is renown for it’s rowdy ways & neck breakn’ beats. With the likes of B-dub’s tight scratch techniques and original beat production this gives MC’s Drastic & Efort a good chance to really relax in the booth & express their two very unique and diverse styles. In 2009 “The Toe” was added to the line up on the drums. Over the years they have shared the stage with artist's such as Bliss'n'Eso, Muph & plutonic, Art Of War, Bias B, Reason, Matty B, Hyjak & Torcha, Drapht, Equals and many more.. The year 2010 holds in store some dope releases from the Rukus Crew with Drastik MC's solo EP NOW AVALABILE followed by a Rukus Crew release late this year & Efort MC's solo drop in the works featuring Sydney battle MC AyeOne and many more sick artists, so get ready to kick granny out, do what mum said you shouldn’t, crack a slab and crank the dial to loud because this year is the year the Rukus Crew make some permanent noise in the scene.
