About me:: Planet Fiction are a four piece heavy/melodic rock band from Brisbane, Queensland. Comprising of Ads and Gruff (Vox and Bass). who have been playing together in rock bands around brissy for a few years now and Matt (guitar), who has also been playing the local scene and shredding the guitar every chance he gets. Catching up regulary at local shows, they decided to come together for a jam which ultimately came to be the begining of Planet Fiction.

After writing a few tracks together, it was time to find a drummer. with a quick flick through Rave, they found Chris (drums), who moved all the way up from Canberra, slotted right in and has been bashing away with them ever since. All four have come together to give everything they have while at practice to give it they're all at live shows.

With major influences ranging from: Finch, Taking Back Sunday, Tool, Silverchair, The Getaway Plan, Dead Letter Circus and A Day To Remember, they have come up with a sound that is similar to the genre they are into, yet unique in their own way.

Keep a close eye on a band that is dedicated to giving a live performance that is one to remember.
