- Using a culmination of talent from previous Coast bands, 4ENZIK craves to offer up something different. Exploring a setlist that covers everything from current top 40 artists to classic dance floor anthems, 4ENZIK leaves no stone unturned to keep the crowd wanting more with their blend of rock, funk, and everything inbetween.
Rod James: With influences a plenty, RJ served his apprenticeship on the Sydney pub circuit during the 80’s in various headlining outfits and in support of some touring international acts. After a 15 year hiatus from music altogether, he has revitalised his passion and has been rocking out in Coast bands the last 4 years. In a time where the guitar solo is often put to the bottom of the mix RJ encourages you to rethink what the role of the lead guitarist is all about!
Chester Howell: Chester spent 18 years playing and recording with 3 major groups in Sydney. He has also toured overseas and worked through some prominent agencies such as South Beat and Harbour, and spent years on the Coast as the driving force behind many prominent outfits. Chester has been playing, teaching, and demonstrating the instrument for most of his life and it's this experience that keeps him in great bands like 4ENZIK.
Julie Hayes: Julie was born to sing. Since her childhood in Ireland, Julie has always been surrounded by music, from classical music to traditional Irish folk songs to rock and roll and heavy metal. She is an accomplished singer and songwriter, and also plays guitar. Julie has performed professionally in many bands and appears frequently as a solo artist. From soul to funk, pop to rock, Julie proves that she commands the microphone and spotlight in 4ENZIK.
Rob O'Sullivan: Rob started his career on the Gold Coast 20 years ago with Cry Wolf and proceeded to continue playing with a variety of acts including Phil Emmanuel, Bart Willoughby and now 4ENZIK. Rob is a passionate and experienced musician who brings rhythm and groove to the stage.
