Hi everyone at GC Bands, Ok, I am well over 60 with fire still in my belly. Had some previous band experience and got the urge to sing. I took some singing lessons, put together a 2 hour show of Ricky Nelson songs and have rehearsed it for 6 months. I am excited about the show and the music. Just recorded a demo, now I want to get out and sing! What's my next step? Any Advice?See More

About me:: As a young man I performed with some popular bands in the UK supporting world class artists including, Chuck Berry, Gene Vincent, The Hollies, Gerry and The Pacemakers, Billy J Kramer and many more. I formed two popular bands on the Gold Coast Australia, "The Jukebox Jives" and "The Kings of Jive". I played rhythm guitar and provided backing vocals. I have not performed with a band for 8 years until last year when I got the urge to sing. Now at the wonderful age of 67 I am performing once again as a solo singer/guitarist. I have a 2 hour "Ricky Nelson Remembered". Show consisting of middle of the road rock n roll, country rock, rockabily and ballads. I am fully self contained with my own professional equipment suitable for any indoor or outdoor venue’s. I use professional studio produced backing tracks for a complete band experience. I live on the Gold Coast and are available for limited appearances, restaurants, clubs, etc. Willing to travel. You will find me extremely responsible and easy to work with! I take tremendous pride in my work, ensuring every performance is of true excellence
