Karen Hanna is a singer songwriter based in northern NSW. Karen is always looking for opportunities to perform and collaborate with other musicians and songwriters. Karen loves to sing Jazz and Blues, well just about anything really. Karen's performances span the breadth and depth of popular music with several acts according to need, venue and taste. She regularly performs with some of the region's top jazz musicians in her act, 'Karen and The Captains of Class' typically a jazz trio with Karen on vocals, Steve Russell on keys and Jack Thorncraft on bass. She is also the lead vocalist in 'Girl Season' a guitar duo that celebrates the all time favourites of contemporary music from the 70's through to now. She is also a songwriter, releasing her debut album - 'Carry Me Away' in 2010. The album is a collection of 12 original compositions telling stories of love, loss, passion and romance.

So whether it is sharing her most personal insights in her original work, showcasing the musical influences of her life, or just performing damn good and feel good music, Karen delivers all with style and grace.
