Jodie-Joy is one of Australia's finest female vocalists who is a sophisticated and polished performer. Trained dancer and singer Jodie is extremely versatile artist with years of experience performing in theatre, television, large stage shows and internationally. Her large performing and musical repertoire embraces pop , jazz, music theatre and classical music. She is third generation professional singer with her grandfather being world acclaimed operatic tenor Donald Smith OBE and her father, former principle tenor with Australian Opera Robin Donald. Jodie leaves her audiences spellbound as she performs her original songs from her debut album I Still Believe, (which was released through Columbia Records, Japan), as well as her well known cover songs. Jodie performs regularly at corporate events, festivals, tours overseas and annual concerts as a soloist, with her band or starring in one of her own lavish, unique and choreographed stylised productions. Jodie recently signed with Suprime records for the dance market only and is set to release early next year. Jodie has also secured international recognition for herself as an adult contemporary / classical crossover style artist after releasing her debut album, she is now concentrating on recording and performing live her latest classical crossover style music. A provocative mix of sensuality, a dynamic sound and with a wealth of experience behind her, Jodie is capturing audiences with her truly international voice.
