July 28, 2012 at 8pm to July 29, 2012 at 12:30am
Local live music venue The Zoo has really been throwing its support behind the local music scene of late, and Saturday July 28th will be no exception. The night will see some of Brisbane’s strongest bands come together to put on a night of predominantly post and prog rock sounds. Hazards of Swimming Naked will headline the night. They’ve been a bit quiet lately but that is certainly not the case behind the scenes. These guys have been rehearsing solidly and are super keen to gig again. FEED…See More

FEED - All At Once Dreaming E.P. Launch @ Shark Bar May 12th at Miami Shark Bar

May 12, 2012 at 8pm to May 13, 2012 at 2am
FEED's E.P. “All At Once Dreaming” is ready to launch and you are invited! About me:
FEED are a Brisbane based heavy rock/progressive group known for their powerful and transfixing sound. “Made unique through their layering of eerie samples over waves of dissonant guitar tones, FEED’s set is one of the strongest post-metal/alternative/hard rock/whatever shows on the local scene” (Tom Hersey, Rave Magazine).

From lyrics with a message to the unique arrangements filled with an array of clean licks, chunky riffs and low-end grooves supplied by the guitars and bass, FEED present a live experience that has the audience enthralled.

Solid creative drumming holds the sound together, whilst the versatile lead vocals take you on a journey from soaring and melancholic to growling doom, and back again.
