Why so many itunes updates!

Seriously, whats with apple and their weekly 80mb updates to itunes! Thanks for your free awesome software and keeping it up to date.. but I'm pretty much sick of getting useless 80mb updates every week.. What the bloody hell are they doing! haha

get a load of the decimal points in the version number... the current version is 8.1.1.10
so.. dose that mean we've had.. like 57,034 updates?
