UNEARTHED LOOKING FOR TWO BANDS TO PLAY BRISBANE VALLEY FIESTA 2009

hey, just came across this for bands/artists who may be interested in playing valley fiesta 2009.....

Brisbane City Council is putting the Fiesta back into the festival in 2009 with a massive line up of top local, national and international acts. The Valley Entertainment Precinct will play host to an entire weekend of FREE all ages activities including music, theatre and performing arts with big name acts scattered throughout the day and night.

And because it's so huge we are offering TWO Brissie bands a chance to join the lineup. Tops! You could be joining BERTIE BLACKMAN, THE MESS HALL, JACK LADDER, ALEKS AND THE RAMPS, CUTHBERT AND THE NIGHTWALKERS, and many many others helping the city of Brisbane come alive from the 23-25th October.
Official VALLEY FIESTA 2009 website »http://www.valleyfiesta.com.au/09/

To be in with a chance you just need to have your tracks uploaded on the site, and Brisbane, Gold Coast or South East QLD selected as your region before Sunday 27th September.

Sounds good, cheers for the heads up. I've always wondered though when they say that, there's literally hundred/thousands of bands that fit their criteria usually (and many who are defunct), know any way to increase chances of getting those kind of gigs or do they just puck the highest rated ones for that area?
sounds pretty good iam goin to that but ill see about the band idea
