Raising Funds for Band?

Anyone got any good ideas for how bands can raise funds for recordings etc?  Anything worked for you? We just got a page up at http://www.indiegogo.com/Help-Aussie-Band-Mayan-Fox-Tour-Canada which is going ok- feel free to come visit and check out our project. But we are doing as much small fundraising stuff as possible to help Mayan Fox achieve their musical goals this year. Hope you are getting stuff done for your band atm.
