Punk-rock Drummer not currently hitting anything
Hey guys,
I left my last band well over a year ago to go travel the globe. Now that I'm back in the one place that familiar old itch to play has come back. I'm in my mid 20s, have been playing in bands for years, I have recording and touring experience. All my own gear.
I'm into the old '90's style punk rock. Bands like Smoke or Fire, Face to Face, Bad Religion, Bouncing Souls, None More Black, The Loved Ones, The Briggs, Rise Against, Strike Anywhere . .. you get the jist.
Not really keen to play in a covers band but.
I take my music fairly seriously but I'm after the type of people that fit into the fine line somewhere between an alcoholic induced piss-taking mess and those overly serious types that think they're gonna sign to a major, make a million dollars and become the next Green Day or something.

Hey bro, I don't have any experience playing in a band or anything but am really keen to.
I reckon I fit the bill as far as what I want from music, whether or not I'm skilled enough to play in a band though, I don't know.
N e way, I'll be over in march if you wanna jam or whatever.

hey man, not sure if you've found something yet? anyway i have been looking for a drummer to jam with for a while now. i have a couple of my own tracks ready to go, but i dont mind writing new stuff either. anyway have a look at my profile and read through my influences and let me know if your keen to have a jam!

Hey dude I'm kinda in the same situation quit my previous band a while ago and i've just kinda gotten myself to a place where I could play some music again. I play bass and I'm into social d, bad religion, propagandhi, hot water music, against me. I'm lookin to be in a band thats gonna be keen enough and good enough to play good live music and have fun doin it. I don't really care about making money or touring or anything like that. If it happened I'd be stoked but it's not really my priority just pretty much lookin to play some good ole fashioned punk music.....if you're keen for a jam some day send me an e-mail mitchosjunk@hotmail.com I know a few people who'd probably be keen to play some guitars too if you want.

I sort of dreamed about being like green day too until they started wearing makeup and taking it up the arse. These days a faint punk dream seems to be wanting to be like fall out boy so you can a least take it up the arse whilst smashing Jessica simpson's sister. My style is basically the lyrical content of nofx and frenzal with a music style sort like old blink. Fun, fast and stupid.
I'm originally from Sydney and moved up here about 9 months ago, pretty keen to get back into it and start a new band. Been speaking to a few dudes and you sound you've got the drums sorted. If you're interested give us a buzz on 0417234447.
