Have Done List

I was at a GC Cultural forum recently where CC the Cat made a comment that stuck with me. She said something along the lines of "Sometimes we can get down by thinking on the things we haven't accomplished. Sometimes instead of making a 'To Do' list, perhaps we should make a 'Have Done' list and whatever the accomplishments are be proud of them and celebrate them!"

She probably articulated that better as I'm just going off memory but it made me think because I was getting down on myself wondering why we hadn't 'made it' so to speak. I made a 'Have Done' list and realised that a lot of good has come our way and for that I'm greatful.

In summary - Celebrate your accomplishments - big or small! Playing your first gig, playing your first paid gig, recording your first demo, single, e.p., album whatever! We're artists. Getting down on ourselves is part and parcel and can actually help with creativity but too much of a bad thing is, well, a bad thing:)

We may not be reeling in the cash but we're having a helluva a good time anyway!
