FILM DIRECTOR LOOKING FOR SERIOUS BANDS/ARTISTS TO WORK ON INVENTIVE MUSIC VIDEOS

I'm a TV Commerical director with his first feature film, The Dark Lurking, about to be released in the states this month.
I'm looking to branch out so I'm hunting for some serious bands/artists who want to develop some sweet music videos for themselves.
I've got the contacts for crew and gear and want to get the ball rolling.
So if you're on the Gold Coast/Brisbane area let's talk and see what we can do together.

Here's some links to some of my stuff to judge quality:

Hey there! I'm moving to the Gold Coast in a week. Any chance you need an assistant?
Hi Tess,
We're currently in talks with a couple of bands and if anything does come of it i'll keep you posted. We're always on the look out for some keen hands to work on these productions.
Hope you enjoy your stay in oz.

Greg
Hi there Greg,
I'm a guitarist from the band Veralyn, www.myspace.com/veralynmusic
sounds pretty cool what you're doing.
what sort of costs would be involved?
thanks mate.
michael
Hi Michael,
Well costs can be as long as a piece of string - it really depends on the concept that we come up with. Regardless there's always the costs envolved with getting a few key personnel that you just HAVE to pay for unfortunately.

The way i'm trying to swing it at the mo is by going though the gold coast council initiatives and getting funding for 'band career development'. These have to be in by 30th oct this year so lucky you emailed me when you did.
What this means, if we get funding, is that we can make something pretty kick ass with quality for very limited cost.

Your music is really different from song to song. i really dug 'open fire"it had a real MUSE feel to it. Carousel had more of an 80's feel good feel to it and 'Home' made me want to go for a surf.

let's talk
Thanks Greg,
that was really informative. glad you like the music. yeah "open fire" is my favourite.
how did the application go with the GC council? had a look at your youtube video a while back. great effects!!!
as we are a relatively young band, I guess we were trying to get a feel for what things we would need to have in our package and arsenal for promoting our music. thanks for your time. love to stay in contact.

Greetings,
My name is Jason Kiesling and I am always serious about my music, is there another way you can be? I write songs all the time and thoroughly enjoy it. I must have a massive ego or a real ability to write because I am hearing very average stories and boring conversations when sampling most original music.

Be Warned, Very low production quality so hopefully you see/hear something in the content of the idea. Very much liked the Alien shoot em Up beat and the guys a believable as tough soilders, thankyou for the sample.
