Hi All,
We are looking for a band to play at the Shorts on the Green short film festival in July. Now into it's third year, Shorts on the Green showcases the best short films from around Queensland and the nation. The festival night is set to take place on July 2nd at Circle on Cavill and is appearing as one of the events for this years Surfers Paradise Festival. Based on past years, we are expecting a bumper crowd to come down to the Circle to watch some films and listen to live music. We are looking for a band to play to the crowd before the festival kicks off and during the intermission. As the festival caters to the general public, we are looking for a band that suits the bill. If you are interested, reply here or contact me via email at rob@shortsonthegreen.com.au. For more info on Shorts on the Green, please go to www.shortsonthegreen.com
Cheers,
Rob Barbuto

Permalink Reply by Alla Spina on June 8, 2011 at 21:59 Hi Rob,
We are a recently formed global pop punk band called 'Alla Spina'. We would love to play as a part of The Shorts on the Green Festival.
Our music is a blend of ska, punk, rock, latin and pop comprised of original material that is both catchy and full of attitude! Our five piece band would love to find out how we could play an energetic set to open the festival.
Alla Spina would definitely get the crowd pumped up and our music is appropriate for the general public viewing.
If you would like to know more about our band please see www.allaspina.spruz.net or visit our www.myspace.com/allaspinaband or www.youtube.com/allaspinaband to hear some examples of our music.
We look forward to hearing from you!! Thank you for your time.
