Gold Coast indie-pop rockers StoneMason emerged into the Australian music scene in 2009 after being introduced as Triple J's Unearthed artists. Forming in 2005 when all members of the band were still in high school, StoneMason consists of Phoebe Parkinson (vocals and keys), John Beynon (guitar), Thomas Stevens (bass), and drummer Ian Collins (formerly of Trigger Theory). StoneMason grew up listening to the pop-punk kings Blink-182 who inspired the band to exist, first and foremost. Over time they've played around with synth sounds and introduced different elements of the pop punk and indie rock genres into their sound.
Veralyn are a 5 piece melodic modern rock band from the glorious and trashy Gold Coast, Australia. With a dynamic punching sound and soaring lead vocals, Veralyn can best be described as a mix of the power rock of MUSE/The Killers/Coldplay with the gentle intensity of Jeff Buckley. The band's debut recordings (Open Fire, Carousel) have already made it onto iTunes and Triple J's Unearthed, with more to follow as Veralyn continue to push the boundaries of their own musical genre. Having recently completed their second studio recordings, the band are excited to bring their latest material to audiences far and wide.
