Don’t like the pub scene but want to see some great live music?
The first concert of Gold Coast Parks’ “Summer of Fun” concert series is on this Sunday 27 November at Laguna Park, Palm Beach from noon until 4pm.
Gold Coast Parks in conjunction with Southern Cross Music Hub have put together a fantastic line-up of local talent – and it’s all free.
Head to the park with family or friends and support our local music industry in a great outdoor environment.
The entertainment line-up is :
12pm Halcyon Days - Alternative, Indi, Rock
1pm Josh Lovegrove - Acoustic, Groove, Pop
2pm Barefoot Fridays - Acoustic
3pm Owen Hogan - Blues, Country, Folk, Rock
Halcyon Days aim to play great music that is contemporary, entertaining and has something for everybody. With years of individual experience in the music and entertainment world, Halcyon Days is upbeat and delivers a high energy performance.
Josh Lovegrove is an upcoming singer, songwriter who is inspired by the likes of John Mayer, Jamie Cullum and Joe Brooks.
Barefoot Friday is an acoustic trio from the Gold Coast playing a unique blend of acoustic music with rock / pop sensibilities, combined with smatterings of blues, folk and funk.
Owen Hogan explores the love of family and his homeland with his precious blend of country, folk and blues.
Sausage sandwiches, soft drinks, coffee and snacks will be available for purchase on the day.
Remember to bring your own hat, sunscreen and a picnic rug.
