WHAT HOODILIDOO IS...
The Hoodilidoo is an annual music festival celebrating and showcasing a
diverse blend of music, art, performance art, freedom of expression,
and community. The festival provides a forum for independent musicians,
fans, and creative minds all of types to explore and enjoy
non-violence, respect for the earth and our place on it, as well as a
concern for others through music, education and community empowerment.
The Hoodilidoo will be at the 34 Ranch in Herod, Illinois from August 14th-16th, 2009. This is an exciting event featuring a diverse lineup of musicians, speakers, and advocacy groups.
This event will also feature a first of its kind competitive burn. We
are inviting some of the best fire spinning units around to compete in
a judged format. We will provide structured categories as well as a
freestyle challenge event.
An amazing array of food, art and merchandise vendors will make the
festival easy to enjoy. The 34 Ranch is a full service campground with
running water facilities provided including hot showers. This will be a
camping festival with RV spots and available power connections.
