fRETfEST ON THE GC

Fretfest is now based on The GOLD COAST.  It's the proven launch-pad for indie folk musicians in Queensland.

Fretfest received a grant from the Regional Arts Development Fund last year to hold free workshops and paid live performances at The Broadwater Parklands and this year we got a grant from the Australian Contemporary Music Touring Program to take local musicians on tour - all expenses paid - it was fantastic! 

Fretfest is also doing a new ROCK SHOW on the Gold Coast called ESCALATE™ which has been running successfully for 2 years in Brisbane.  We added the new Gold Coast show 6 weeks ago at the Parkwood Tavern on Saturday nights and it's going great!  You should definitely come along!!!!

PS.  We only re-ignited our profile on GCBAND this week, so that's why we've been a bit quiet lately on this forum.  But you will start to hear a lot more about Fretfest and Escalate from now on!
