Take the voluptuous bass of Paul Robert Burton, velvet vocals of Nadia Sunde, virtuoso guitar of Michael Fix, add a healthy dose of humour and positive vibes, and you have a concert that will leave you smiling for days.
Three very talented and unique musicians - each individually recognised as an established solo artist - combine to create joyful songs that will make you feel good.
Paul Robert Burton has worked in Australia and Europe for many years with his band 'The Shuffle Kings' and as a live and/or studio session musician with: Jimmy Barnes, Keith Urban, Graeme Connors, Ian Moss, Doc Neeson, The Brewster Brothers and a host of others.
Multi-award winning singer/songwriter, Nadia Sunde, is well known on the Gold Coast as a broadcaster for ABC Coast FM. Her warm and resonant voice brings new dimensions to old songs and a sense of old world character to new songs. Described as 'earthy', 'gutsy', 'soulful' and 'captivating', hers is a voice to stand you still.
Over the past 20 years Michael Fix has established himself as one of Australia's finest composers and guitarists, winning numerous awards (including 3 Golden Guitars) and performing regularly at festivals across Australia, Europe and Asia.
Performing an eclectic repertoire of originals and out-of-the-ordinary covers, Burton, Sunde and Fix seamlessly blend blues, Celtic, gypsy, swing, jazz and folk and other musical influences together into a thoroughly engaging live music experience.
Support act: Indigo Collins-Cook
Live at Bond welcomes our first high school performer, Indigo Collins-Cook. Indigo's forte is exploring alternative tunings and percussive forms of guitar playing.
Proudly supported by Zarraffa's Coffee Robina. Proceeds go to charities including The Perry Cross Spinal Research Foundation.
