Bond by the Lake - creative arts & cultural festival celebrating the 1920's
The golden age of jazz, swing and big band comes alive at Bond by the Lake with fiendishly talented The Woohoo Revue (Melbourne), Melissa Western performing 'Oh Lady be Good' - the acclaimed cabaret tribute to 1920's divas, and Les Wilson's Swing Force Big Band featuring stunning local jazz contralto, Bec Whitehead.
Plus 1920's Charleston dancing, creative workshops, The Village Markets at Bond, children's entertainment, roving performers including The Blenders Youth Chorus and Vocalescence A capella singers, The Long Lunch by celebrity chef Simon Grigalius (ticketed) based on a 'slow food' sustainability philosophy, antique cars, art & photography galleries and much more.
Dress up in your best Great Gatsby style and revive the roaring twenties for a day!
