2012 Pan Pacific Masters Games

This year’s Pan Pacific Masters Games from 3 to 11 November is set to be rocked by the biggest and best live entertainment program in the event’s history on the Gold Coast.

The Games Village at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre will transform into a live Pan Pacs entertainment venue for more than 11,000 accredited competitors, officials and supporters over eight big nights.

The program will be headlined by ARIA Hall of Fame inductees Brian Cadd, Russell Morris and Jim Keays who will perform on the opening night (Saturday 3 November) playing hits from their prolific careers spanning over four decades.

Singer-songwriter Brian Cadd famous for hit singles ‘Little Ray of Sunshine’ and ‘My Baby’s Gone’ will be joined on stage by Russell Morris, renown for his number one hit ‘The Real Thing’ which was the highest selling single in 1969, and Jim Keays, the former lead singer of psychedelic outfit The Masters Apprentices.

Much-loved Australian rock outfit The Black Sorrows will leap into classics ‘Chained to the Wheel’ and ‘Harley and Rose’ on Wednesday (7 November) while former INXS and current Noiseworks frontman Jon Stevens will belt out a string of hits including ‘Touch’ and ‘Take Me Back’ on Friday (9 November).

Every other night of the week celebrated six-piece house band Magic Carpet Ride and resident Pan Pacs DJ Tallie are guaranteed to continue the celebrations well into the night.

Access to the live entertainment is free for all accredited Games participants while the general public can register as a general supporter for $65 which will allow them access to the eight-night entertainment program.
